Pictures of Sasha and Brookelyn

It's hard to get pictures of Sasha lately because she is always moving quickly. She doesn't sit still for a minute. Here are a few of the girls playing the other day. Sasha can get out of the walker so I only use it when I am right next to her. But sometimes I use it to keep her off of the floor if I need to vacuum it before she crawls around or if I am giving her a snack while I am getting dinner ready. She is able to wriggle out of the belts of her high chair so I can't use that unless I am sitting there with her the whole time. Anyway, Brookleyn likes to stand on the back of the walker and have Sasha give her a ride on it. They both seem to like it.

This last set was emailed to us on September 8th, less than a week before we left to get her. I don't know the date they were taken.

We were sent these pictures on July 26th, a few weeks after we were given Sasha's referral. I'm not sure what day they were taken on. I thought she looked really different and even wondered if it was the same baby. I even called my caseworker to ask if they had sent me the wrong ones. She assured me it was the same baby. At first I was a little upset thinking it was a different baby, but then I thought that whatever baby they handed me when I got to Vietnam that needed a home would be the right baby. Now I can see that they were all of Sasha.

These were taken on June 24th. She was almost ten weeks old. We got her referral eight days after these were taken. I love these pictures. My husband and I drove to his office the evening we got the phone call and printed the pictures there where he has a high quality printer. I carried the pictures everywhere and showed everyone who walked by me. Seriously. We hung them up around the house too. My favorite is the the first one of these two.
